Case studyOrizal Financial Advisors
Building an advisory brand around broader possibilities, stronger relationships, and growth beyond Singapore.
FableForce
The two founders came to us with an idea rather than a finished business. They wanted to connect clients with a wider network of financial solutions while creating an environment where advisors could keep learning and build more fulfilling careers.
Financial advisors in Singapore often work within the solutions available through the organisation they represent. Orizal’s two founders saw an opportunity to build stronger connections across the industry, bringing together a broader network of specialists and financial solutions around the needs of clients.
Their ambitions also extended beyond Singapore.
Through relationships across Southeast Asia, they had met people who wanted access to financial opportunities here. The founders believed a Singapore-based advisory group could become a trusted bridge between these regional connections and the solutions available in the country.
The idea was clear to them. But it did not yet have a name, identity, website, or public story.
They needed to turn that ambition into a business people could understand and believe in.
The name Orizal began with Oryza sativa, the scientific name for rice.
Rice crosses cultures, languages, and borders throughout Asia. It felt like an appropriate symbol for a business that wanted to connect with people across the region.
We paired that idea with the image of the sun on the horizon: something warm, optimistic, and always moving towards what comes next. Together, those ideas became Orizal.
The name gave the founders more than an identity. It captured their belief in long-term planning, regional connection, and creating possibilities for more people.
Orizal wanted to feel different from the closed, purely transactional image people sometimes associate with financial advisory.
For clients, that meant seeing financial planning as a long-term relationship rather than a single product conversation. For advisors, it meant joining an environment where mentors were available, intensive training continued after onboarding, and there was always room to improve.
The founders described this through their belief in the “Whole Man” approach: professional success should not come at the expense of a meaningful life. Work, personal growth, relationships, and wellbeing had to develop together.
This gave us the foundation for the brand.
Across 10 weeks, we shaped Orizal’s positioning, name, story, and visual identity, then brought them to life through its website, photography, video, social media, campaign creatives, and launch materials.
FableForce became the branding, creative, and marketing arm behind the launch, giving the founding team one clear way to present what they were building.

Brand and marketing decisions could not be separated from the way Orizal was building the business. As the relationship developed, we worked with its leadership on different aspects of business management, thinking through strategy, priorities, and the decisions in front of them.
That broader view meant each piece of work could be considered in context. The question was not only what Orizal should communicate, but what the business was trying to become and what would help it move there.
Orizal’s advisors also needed the confidence to represent themselves, not only the company. We conducted LinkedIn and personal-branding workshops that connected profile positioning, relationship-building, and useful content habits.
The sessions gave advisors practical ways to explain their experience, form meaningful professional connections, and share what they knew in their own voices.

The company profiles had to make the same promise clear to people encountering Orizal on social platforms. We rewrote Orizal’s Facebook and LinkedIn profiles so the business, its people-first belief, and its recruitment story were easier to understand.
The writing gave each page a clearer role: introduce what Orizal stood for, help prospective clients recognise its approach, and give potential advisors a reason to look further.

Once Orizal had launched, the next challenge was growth.
Recruitment in financial advisory usually focuses on performance, opportunity, and professional achievement. Those things mattered, but they did not fully explain why someone would choose one team over another.
Prospective advisors also wanted to know who they would be working with. Would they receive support? What would everyday life feel like? Could they succeed without losing sight of everything outside work?
We developed an original content concept called “A Day in the Life of a Financial Advisor.” Instead of presenting advisors only through polished professional profiles, we followed them through their work, conversations, interests, and time with the people around them.
The goal was simple: people first.
The stories allowed prospective clients and advisors to see the personalities behind the profession. They also made Orizal’s culture more visible and gave its advisors a platform to build trust in their own voices.
Our role did not end when the website went live.
Over the next three years, we continued supporting Orizal through social media, website development, marketing activities, recruitment campaigns, advisor stories, and qualified lead generation.
This consistency helped the business remain visible while giving clients and potential advisors more reasons to remember and talk about it. Both groups regularly praised how the brand had been presented, contributing to positive word of mouth around the organisation.
Orizal grew from an initial team of seven advisors to 40. It also ranked at the top of its agency category within Infinitum for consecutive years.
The brand did not create that growth alone. The founders, mentors, and advisors built the business. Our role was to make what they were building easier for others to understand, trust, and choose.
“FableForce's meticulous approach to market analysis and competitive positioning provided us with a clear understanding of our target audience and the competitive landscape. They then expertly guided us through the development and implementation of our digital transformation roadmap, ensuring that every step was aligned with our overall strategy.”
