Case studyODC Training
Rebuilding an information-heavy training website around the decisions people make before they enquire.
FableForce

ODC had award-winning programmes, WSQ-accredited courses, and experience across 14 cities. But its outdated website made that expertise difficult to understand, navigate, and act on.
Someone looking for training rarely arrives with just one question.
An individual learner may want to know whether a course will help their career. An employer may be comparing programmes for a team. An HR professional may need to understand outcomes, accreditation, funding, and logistics before recommending anything internally.
ODC had the experience and programmes to serve all of them. The problem was that its website made every visitor work too hard to find what mattered.
Important information was spread across dense pages. Course details, funding support, outcomes, and enquiry routes competed for attention instead of guiding a decision. Even a motivated visitor could struggle to understand which programme was right or what to do next.
The website contained plenty of information. It lacked a clear way through it.
ODC was drawn to our ability to combine web design with storytelling. That combination mattered because this was not simply a visual refresh.
We first reorganised the experience around the questions visitors ask before choosing training: What is this programme? Who is it for? What will I learn? Is support available? How do I enquire?
The copy became easier to scan. Dense information was broken into clearer sections and supporting graphics. Page layouts established a stronger hierarchy, while calls to action appeared where someone would naturally be ready for the next step.
Design, writing, user experience, conversion planning, and development worked together to make a complicated offer feel easier to understand.
The old homepage introduced the organisation broadly, but gave visitors little help finding the right programme or understanding why ODC was worth considering.
The rebuilt homepage brought ODC’s credibility, WSQ relevance, programme pathways, and enquiry actions into a clearer story.
The change was visible in more than the appearance of the website.
Visitors could move through ODC’s programmes with less effort, understand the information needed to make a decision, and reach an enquiry without searching for the next step. ODC subsequently recorded stronger form response and course interest after the new experience went live.
“FableForce helped us modernise our digital presence at a critical time. Their understanding of our training business and the SkillsFuture landscape made the collaboration smooth. The website now reflects the calibre of our programmes and helps turn visitors into course enquiries.”
